Overview

We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Home Care Worker to provide essential support to individuals in their homes. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in childcare and experience working with children, ensuring that care plans are followed meticulously. Duties

Assist clients with daily living activities, including personal care, meal preparation, and household tasks Develop and implement care plans tailored to each client's needs Provide emotional support and companionship to clients, fostering a nurturing environment Maintain clear communication with clients, families, and healthcare professionals regarding care progress Drive clients to appointments or activities as needed, ensuring their safety during transport Utilise IT skills for documentation and reporting purposes, ensuring accurate record-keeping

Experience

Previous experience working with children is highly desirable A background in childcare or related fields is advantageous Strong communication skills are essential for effective interaction with clients and families Familiarity with creating and following care plans is beneficial A valid driving licence is required for transporting clients Proficiency in IT systems for documentation and communication purposes
