We are seeking an experienced and dedicated Residential Conveyancer to join our legal team. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing residential property transactions from inception to completion, ensuring compliance with relevant legislation and providing exceptional client service. Responsibilities
Managing a caseload of residential property transactions, including sales, purchases, remortgages, and transfers of equity
Drafting and reviewing legal documentation related to property transactions
Conducting searches, enquiries, and liaising with clients, estate agents, lenders, and other stakeholders
Ensuring all transactions adhere to current legal standards and regulations
Providing clear advice and updates to clients throughout the conveyancing process
Organising and prioritising workload to meet deadlines efficiently
Maintaining accurate case files and updating case management systems regularly
Assisting with compliance procedures and risk management protocols
Experience
Previous experience in residential conveyancing or property law is absolutely essential.
Strong communication skills to liaise effectively with clients and colleagues
Proficiency in IT systems relevant to legal practice, including case management software
Excellent organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple cases simultaneously
Effective time management skills to prioritise tasks and meet deadlines
Demonstrated ability to work independently as well as part of a team
