Overview

We are seeking a dedicated Residential Conveyancer to join our legal team in Sutton Coldfield..The successful candidate will be responsible for managing property transactions from instruction through to completion, ensuring a smooth and efficient process for clients. Responsibilities

Managing all aspects of residential property transactions, including sales, purchases, remortgages, and transfers of equity. Drafting and reviewing legal documentation such as contracts, transfer deeds, and leasehold agreements. Liaising effectively with clients, estate agents, mortgage brokers, and other stakeholders to facilitate smooth transactions. Conducting searches, verifying titles, and ensuring all legal requirements are met within set deadlines. Providing clear advice to clients regarding the conveyancing process and legal obligations. Maintaining accurate case files and updating case management systems regularly. Ensuring compliance with relevant legislation and internal policies throughout all stages of the transaction. Managing workload efficiently to meet deadlines whilst maintaining high standards of service.

Experience

Previous experience working as a Residential Conveyancer or in a similar property law role is preferred. Strong communication skills to liaise confidently with clients and external parties. Proficiency in IT systems relevant to legal practice management and document drafting. Excellent organisational skills to manage multiple cases simultaneously while adhering to strict deadlines. Effective time management skills to prioritise tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment. Ability to work independently as well as part of a team, demonstrating professionalism and attention to detail.
