We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Residential Conveyancer to join our Kingswinford office. You will guide clients through the complex process of property transactions, ensuring smooth and efficient conveyancing services. Your expertise will help clients navigate legal procedures related to buying, selling, or remortgaging residential properties, providing clarity and confidence every step of the way. Responsibilities
Manage a caseload of residential property transactions from instruction through to completion, including sales, purchases, remortgages, and transfers of equity.
Provide clear guidance and updates to clients regarding legal requirements, documentation, and timelines involved in conveyancing processes.
Draft and review legal documents such as contracts, transfer deeds, and mortgage documentation with precision and attention to detail.
Conduct thorough searches (local authority, land registry, environmental) to identify potential issues affecting property transactions.
Liaise effectively with estate agents, mortgage brokers, surveyors, and other stakeholders to coordinate transaction progress.
Ensure compliance with all relevant legal regulations and internal policies throughout each case.
Identify potential risks or issues early on and communicate these proactively to clients and team members.
Maintain accurate case files using electronic case management systems while adhering to data protection standards.
Assist with client inquiries promptly and professionally, fostering trust and confidence in our services.
Support the team in developing best practices for conveyancing procedures and client care initiatives.
Qualifications
Proven experience as a Residential Conveyancer or in a similar fee earning property law role with a strong understanding of conveyancing procedures.
Knowledge of local land registry processes, property searches, and relevant legislation governing residential transactions.
Excellent communication skills--able to explain complex legal concepts clearly to clients with diverse backgrounds.
Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple cases efficiently under tight deadlines.
A relevant legal qualification or certification related to property law is desirable but not mandatory.
