This thriving, family run firm in the heart of Newport city centre is looking for a residential conveyancer to run a caseload of residential sales and purchases.

You maybe a Fee Earner paralegal, licenced conveyancer, Cilex or qualified solicitor. You will need to hit the ground running and have good client facing skills.

The role of the Conveyancing Fee Earner is to ensure that all property transactions are pro- actively managed from exchange to completion, maintaining strong client service levels and working relationships with referrers, when managing their own case load.

This role involves but is not limited to:

Handling own case load of mixed case files of sales, purchases, buy to let, transferring of ownership, unregistered titles, shared ownership and help to buy with minimal supervision.

Developing and maintain relationship with referral and work providers.

Competent in handling all aspects of own transactions

Understanding of CQS and Regulatory matters regarding residential conveyancing.

Receiving instructions and providing legal advice to Clients on purchase, sales, re-mortgage and transfer of equity matters.

Issuing and exchanging contracts.

Mortgage redemptions.

Checking and reporting of titles, including leases and raising associated enquiries.

Ordering and reporting on searches.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: 28,000.00-38,000.00 per year
