We are seeking a dedicated Residential Conveyancer to join our legal team. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing property transactions from instruction through to completion, ensuring a smooth and efficient conveyancing process. Responsibilities
Managing a caseload of residential property transactions, including sales, purchases, remortgages, and transfers of equity
Providing clear and professional advice to clients regarding legal processes and documentation
Drafting and reviewing legal documents such as contracts, transfer deeds, and mortgage instructions
Liaising with clients, estate agents, lenders, and other solicitors to facilitate smooth transaction progress
Ensuring all legal requirements are met within specified deadlines whilst maintaining high standards of compliance
Organising and maintaining accurate case files and documentation in accordance with firm policies
Keeping clients informed of progress throughout the conveyancing process and addressing any queries promptly
Requirements
Proven experience as a Residential Conveyancer or in a similar property law role
Strong communication skills, capable of explaining complex legal matters clearly and professionally
Proficiency in IT systems relevant to conveyancing work, including case management software and document management tools
Excellent organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple cases efficiently under tight deadlines
Effective time management skills to prioritise tasks and ensure timely completion of transactions
Demonstrable attention to detail and accuracy in handling legal documentation
Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
