Monday - Fridays, 09:00 AM - 5:00 PM (1 hour lunch)

Salary

: Up to 40,000.00 (Depending on Experience) plus bonuses

We are seeking a professional and proactive

Residential Conveyancer

to support our busy Property Department. The ideal candidate will have experience working a varied, independent residential caseload and either hold a qualification or be interested in pursuing qualification in a supportive firm. We will consider hybrid working arrangements for the successful candidate.

This role is ideal for someone looking to hit the ground running in a busy Somerset firm, and those either already qualified or interested in pursuing qualification in their next role. It will require knowledge of property transactions, a self-motivated and independent mindset, a passion for learning and self-development, and the drive to succeed in a demanding career.

Candidates should be highly motivated and seeking opportunities for upskilling and progression within the firm, as our firm strategy seeks to prioritise internal progression. We are keen to hear from candidates with their career development plan as early as interview stage. We are also able to allocate support staff to support the successful candidate, and would be particularly interested in a candidate with experience providing training, although this is not required.

Key Responsibilities:

Document preparation and amendments

Developing and applying legal understanding Engaging with live transactional legal matters at all stages Supporting and learning from colleagues on their matters Handling telephone and in-person client interactions Assisting with general and legal queries Liaising with the Accounts team on transactions Collaborating with colleagues across departments
