HCB Widdows Mason is seeking a qualified and experienced Residential Conveyancer to join our dedicated property team. This role is an excellent opportunity for those looking to advance their career in residential conveyancing while working in a supportive and client-focused environment.


As a Residential Conveyancer, your key responsibilities will include:

Managing a caseload of residential property transactions from initial instruction to completion, ensuring a high level of client satisfaction. Conducting property searches, reviewing contracts, and ensuring compliance with relevant legislation and regulations. Providing expert legal advice to clients regarding their rights and obligations throughout the transaction process. Coordinating with other professionals, including mortgage lenders, estate agents, and local authorities. Preparing and submitting applications to the Land Registry and handling documentation related to Stamp Duty Land Tax. Maintaining accurate records and ensuring timely updates for all cases. Staying updated on current legislation and trends in residential conveyancing.

Requirements

Qualified and licensed as a Solicitor (SRA), Chartered Legal Executive (CILEX), or Licensed Conveyancer (CLC). Proven experience in managing residential conveyancing transactions. Strong understanding of property law, practices, and relevant regulations. Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills. Proficient in case management systems and Microsoft Office. Ability to handle a high volume of work and meet tight deadlines. Attention to detail and strong problem-solving skills.
