to join our growing team. You will play a key role in supporting fee earners with all aspects of the conveyancing process, ensuring a smooth and efficient experience for clients purchasing, selling, or remortgaging residential property.
Key Responsibilities:
Support conveyancers with a caseload of residential property files, from instruction through to post-completion
Draft and prepare legal documentation including contract packs, transfer forms (TR1), completion statements, and client care letters
Order and review property searches (e.g., local authority, drainage, environmental)
Liaise with clients, solicitors, estate agents, mortgage lenders, and other third parties
Update clients regularly on the progress of their transactions in a professional manner
Deal with post-completion matters such as Stamp Duty Land Tax (SDLT) submissions and Land Registry applications
Maintain accurate records on the case management system and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements
Open and close files in line with the firm's procedures
Carry out general administrative duties, including photocopying, filing, and data entry
Required Skills & Experience:
Minimum 2 year of experience in residential conveyancing support
Good understanding of the residential conveyancing process
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Strong attention to detail and organisational skills
Ability to manage a high volume of administrative tasks in a fast-paced environment
Proficiency in using case management systems (e.g., LEAP, Proclaim, Redbrick)
A team player with a proactive, client-focused approach
