Overview

We are seeking a dedicated Residential Conveyancer to join our legal team. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing property transactions from inception to completion, ensuring a smooth and efficient process for clients. Duties

Manage a caseload of residential property transactions, including sales, purchases, remortgages, and transfers of equity. Draft and review legal documentation related to property transactions. Liaise with clients, estate agents, mortgage brokers, and other solicitors to facilitate smooth progress of transactions. Conduct property searches, enquiries, and negotiations to resolve any issues that may arise during the process. Ensure compliance with relevant legislation and regulatory requirements throughout all stages of conveyancing. Provide clear and professional advice to clients regarding legal rights and obligations. Coordinate with external parties such as surveyors and lenders to ensure timely completion of transactions. Maintain accurate case files and keep all parties informed of progress regularly.

Experience

Proven experience as a Residential Conveyancer or in a similar role within a legal practice specialising in property law. Strong negotiation skills with the ability to effectively resolve issues that may arise during transactions. Excellent organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple cases simultaneously under tight deadlines. Knowledge of current legislation relating to residential property transactions. Familiarity with conveyancing software and case management systems is desirable. A professional approach combined with excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
