We are seeking an experienced Residential Event Manager who will have overall responsibility for the operational and commercial success of all types of residential events held on campus. This will include creating and implementing a strategy for EFL summer schools, FE and HE credit bearing and non-credit bearing courses for adults, sports camps, boot camps and any similar activities.
You will be confident, highly organised, creative, and detail-oriented, with the ability to thrive under pressure and manage multiple priorities effectively.
You will bring proven expertise in managing residential events, demonstrating strong organisational skills, creativity, and exceptional attention to detail. Your role will include overseeing the full delivery of residential programmes, with responsibilities spanning safeguarding, financial oversight, and reporting.
As the operational lead for Camp St Mary's, you will manage day-to-day activities including recruitment, marketing, quality assurance, accreditation, timetabling, and programme delivery. A deep understanding of the broader summer school landscape--and the networks it involves--is essential, as you will be expected to utilise these connections to strengthen and expand our offering.
This is a hands-on role that combines strategic leadership with operational execution. You will have experience in managing educational programmes, working with diverse client groups, and leading academic, welfare and social teams with confidence and clarity.
Flexibility is vital, as the position requires national and international travel and availability during evenings and weekends.
