About the Role



We are seeking an experienced and proactive

Conveyancing Paralegal

to join our busy and friendly property team. The ideal candidate will provide essential support to fee earners, handling residential conveyancing matters from instruction to completion under supervision. Key Responsibilities



Assisting with all aspects of the conveyancing process including sales, purchases, remortgages, transfers of equity, and new build transactions. Drafting legal documents such as contracts, transfer deeds, and completion statements. Conducting searches, ID checks, and reviewing title documentation. Liaising with clients, solicitors, estate agents, mortgage lenders, and other stakeholders. Preparing files for exchange and completion. Ensuring compliance with all regulatory and legal requirements including AML and CQS protocols. Keeping clients regularly updated and maintaining excellent client care standards. Handling post-completion matters including registration and submission of SDLT forms. Maintaining accurate records and ensuring case management systems are up to date.

Requirements



Minimum 12 months' experience in a conveyancing support role. Strong understanding of the residential conveyancing process. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to manage a busy caseload with a high level of organisation and attention to detail. Proficient in Microsoft Office and case management systems (e.g. LEAP, Proclaim, etc.). Ability to work independently as well as part of a team. A legal qualification (e.g. LPC, CILEX) is desirable but not essential.
