A fantastic opportunity has arisen for an experienced
Property Manager
to join a growing business in Oakham.
You will be responsible for managing a residential property portfolio, including tenancy administration, repairs and maintenance, compliance, and tenant/landlord relations. This is an office-based role with occasional out-of-office appointments for property inspections and tenant check-ins/check-outs.
Key Responsibilities
Manage tenant references, tenancy applications, and draw up legal tenancy agreements.
Handle tenant and landlord queries, both face-to-face and via phone/email.
Deal with repairs and maintenance, liaising with contractors to resolve issues efficiently.
Conduct tenant check-ins, check-outs, and maintain property folders.
Register deposits and ensure compliance with residential property legislation.
Provide excellent customer service, building strong relationships with tenants and landlords.
Support the team to ensure the smooth running of the property management operation.
About You
Property management experience within a residential lettings environment.
Strong customer service experience, with excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Analytical, organised, and detail-oriented, with the ability to problem-solve effectively.
Self-motivated, proactive, and capable of working independently and as part of a team.
Full UK driving licence and own vehicle.
Genuine interest in property and people, with a professional, solutions-focused approach.
Preferred Previous Experience
Experience in handling maintenance coordination and contractor liaison.
Knowledge of inventories, compliance, and residential property legislation.
Experience in managing tenant check-ins/check-outs and tenancy paperwork.
