An ambitious and progressive UK Top 150 law firm is seeking a Residential Property Paralegal to join its busy and supportive team in Spalding. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with a genuine interest in residential conveyancing to develop their career within a forward-thinking, client-focused practice.
Responsibilities include:
You will provide high-quality support to the residential property team, assisting fee earners with a broad range of conveyancing matters. The role is varied and will suit someone who thrives in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
Assisting with all aspects of residential property transactions, from instruction through to post-completion
Drafting contracts, transfers, and other legal documents under supervision
Preparing and submitting SDLT returns and Land Registry applications
Liaising with clients, estate agents, mortgage lenders, and other solicitors
Conducting searches and reviewing title documentation
Managing case files and ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements
Providing administrative support to fee earners and the wider team
What we need from you:
Previous experience working in residential conveyancing
A law degree, CILEX, or equivalent legal qualification (desirable but not essential)
Strong organisational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritise effectively
Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in drafting and reviewing documents
Strong communication skills and a professional, client-focused approach
Proficiency in Microsoft Office and case management systems
