, we provide therapeutic residential care for children aged 8-18 with emotional and behavioural difficulties (EBD), including trauma, autism, and attachment challenges. We're looking for compassionate, committed individuals to join our team and become a positive, stable presence in a child's life.
Your Responsibilities
Support children with daily routines, emotional regulation, and life skills
Build trusting, professional relationships in a safe and structured environment
Encourage independence, resilience, and positive behaviour
Work collaboratively with professionals, families, and agencies to meet care plan goals
Maintain accurate and timely care records, logs, and incident reports
Uphold safeguarding policies and promote children's rights and wellbeing
What We're Looking For
Essential:
A genuine passion for working with children and young people
Understanding of safeguarding principles and professional boundaries
Willingness to complete all required training
Level 3 or Level 4 Diploma in Residential Childcare (or equivalent)Note: Health & Social Care qualifications do not meet this requirement
Full UK driving licence
Ability to reliably commute or plan to relocate prior to starting
Desirable:
At least 1 year of experience in a children's residential care setting
Experience supporting children with challenging behaviours, autism, ADHD, or trauma
