We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Residential Support Worker to join our team. The ideal candidates will play a crucial role in providing assistance and support to individuals, particularly children, in their daily activities. This position requires a proactive approach to ensuring the well-being and development of those in your care, while also fostering independence and confidence.
Responsibilities
Provide personal care and support to children, ensuring their safety and comfort.
Assist with the development and implementation of individual care plans tailored to each child's needs.
Engage with children in various activities that promote learning and social interaction.
Communicate effectively with children, families, and other professionals to ensure a cohesive support network.
Maintain accurate records of care provided and progress made by each child.
Drive to various locations as required for outings or appointments, ensuring safe transport.
Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to enhance the quality of care provided.
Undertake Sleep shifts as part of your normal working rota. We pay 75 per night sleep pay rate.
Skills
Experience in childcare or working with children is essential.
Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, to interact effectively with children and families.
Ability to develop and follow care plans tailored to individual needs.
IT skills for maintaining records and communicating with team members.
A valid driving licence is preferred for transporting children as necessary.
A compassionate nature with the ability to build rapport with children quickly.

Has experience in a children's residential setting.
Driver's licence (essential).
