Job Description

MJ Children have provided residential childcare services since 1999 . At present, we have a 4 bed home, 'The Birches', for young people aged 6-17, just outside of Whittlesey. We are in a period of development and are opening a home, 'The Willows' in Spalding, opening soon. This role will primarily be based at our Spalding home but would require also working at our Peterborough home.

The young people we care for have experienced a traumatic and neglectful early life. We understand the importance placed on our role as attachment figures, working to the therapeutic B.E.A.C.O.N model to provide love, care and support to our young people.

We are looking to recruit an enthusiastic Residential Childcare Worker to support our existing team and our young people, aged 6 to 17.

Days are 09:00-21:00 overtime is also available and ........... No Sleep Ins!

Rota patterns

Position 1: Week 1 - Thurs and Friday. Week 2 - Monday, Tuesday, Saturday, Sunday.

Position 2: Week 1 - Monday, Tuesday, Sunday. Week 2 - Wednesday, Thursday, Friday.

After successfully passing your probation period salary will increase by 0.50p per hour and we support the completion of your Level 3.

A FULL UK Manual Driving licence is essential for this role, any applicants without this may not get a response due to this being a requirement.
