We are currently recruiting a Residential Support Worker to join our long established team, motivated to deliver high standards of personalised care in supporting the welfare and development of the children/young people in our care.
The successful candidate will complete shift work in a residential care home providing for both long term care and transition into semi-independent living for children/young people, aged 8 to 17 years with varied Complex Needs, challenging behaviours or Learning Disabilities.

As a member of staff, in a hands-on role, it is essential you have relevant experience in working with children/young people. You will be responsible for ensuring that health and safety standards are maintained and that the Home's policies and procedures and relevant regulations are followed.
In addition, you will be expected to contribute in care planning, risk assessments, reviews and to participate in staff meetings. Excellent communication skills, both oral and written, are essential.
It is desirable that candidate's hold a Level 3 Diploma in the "Children and Young People's workforce". In addition, it is essential to have experience in supporting children/young people in a residential setting.
Holding a full driving license would be beneficial. The position requires that all staff members work shifts on a rota basis. Staff members receive a sleep-in allowance of 50 per shift, the opportunity to join the Company pension scheme and receive a private healthcare package on completion of the relevant probation period.
