29,000 - 31,000 per annum (dependent on experience and qualifications)

Shifts:

2 days on / 4 days off rota (including weekends and bank holidays)

Residential Support Workers

to join our dedicated team in Gravesend. This role involves providing high-quality care and support to children and young people aged 8-18 who have experienced trauma, abuse, or neglect.

Working as part of a supportive team, you'll help create a safe, nurturing, and structured environment where children can develop resilience, build positive relationships, and achieve their full potential.

Key Responsibilities

Provide emotional and practical support to children and young people in a residential care setting Act as a positive role model, promoting healthy routines and appropriate behaviour Assist with daily routines including meals, school runs, activities, and appointments Implement care plans and behaviour management strategies tailored to individual needs Maintain accurate records, incident reports, and safeguarding documentation Participate in team meetings, training, and ongoing development

What We're Looking For

Experience working with children or young people in a care or support setting (residential care experience desirable) Level 3 Diploma in Residential Childcare (or willingness to work towards this) Resilient, empathetic, and calm under pressure Excellent communication and teamwork skills Commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children Full UK driving licence (preferred but not essential)
