We have the opportunity for a

Residential Support Worker

to join our growing team. Based in Tettenhall, Wolverhampton.

Competitive Base Salary 25,500 - 27,000 (Based on experience & Qualifications)



Plus sleep-Ins averaging an additional 8k per year.



Sleep-Ins Paid at 70 per stay (Average 8-10 sleeps per month )

2 on 4 off shift pattern as standard

Full Time - 173 hours per month

Generally 15 hour shift pattern (8am - 11pm) (11pm - 8am sleep) 2 on 4 off pattern

We are a specialist therapeutic children's care provider who create nurturing homes full of warmth for the children we care for. We are a supportive and welcoming team who hold therapeutically caring for children at the centre of everything we do. Our knowledgeable clinical and operational staff work in collaboration to provide our children with the holistic, family orientated, therapeutic care they need. We are led by experienced professionals and health professionals in the field of trauma who have a desire to make a real difference.

Our children can range from 6 -17 years old and have all been impacted by trauma in some way, which has a direct influence on how they see the world around them now. One of our many roles at Nurture is to help them settle, feel safe and build trust.

To enable you to do this, we provide you on-going support, as part of this we provide well-being sessions for our teams and reflective practice sessions, including 1-1 sessions. We will also invest in you and your development, which includes regular bespoke training sessions delivered by our in-house clinical team and offer industry recognised qualifications and further bespoke training- programmes to support you to progress.

Package: 224 Hours annual leave and a competitive sleep-in rate of *70.00 per stay. You will also be able to access a variety of regular and on-going bespoke clinically informed training, operational and specified training. The role and requirements



Our

Residential Support Workers

are responsible for caring for our children and the home on their allocated days. It is essential that you feel confident to support, progress and advocate for the children you care for, as well as being organised, confident in decision making and demonstrate good communication skills.

o You will need to have a genuine passion, dedication and ability to care for the children we look after and the work that we do - commitment, patience, resilience and a sense of humour is vital.

o Hold a relevant qualification such as the Diploma Level 3 or 4 within Children's Residential Care or willing to work towards within a 2 year time-frame.

o Ideally have previous experience working with children and / or young people in a residential home setting.

o Have a desire to progress your career and grow with us as we grow.

o Work as a strong team to ensure the best possible outcomes for our children.

o Be willing to undertake training and qualifications (clinically informed and operational) to support you in your role.

o Contribute to children's therapeutic care plans, risk assessments and reviews. Attend Bi-Weekly TAC Meetings with your team.

o Help to provide a safe, caring and functioning family environment for our children including helping with their daily routines, meal preparation and daily home cleanliness.

o Have or gain a good understanding of safeguarding, legislations and regulations

o Work flexibly as part of our rota and on-call rota system.

o Hold a full manual or automatic driving licence

o Subject to an Enhanced DBS Disclosure check (Funded by employer)

o Subject to satisfactory reference requests
