We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Support Worker to join our team in providing exceptional care to children living in our 2 bedded Ofsted Registered home. This role will include working shifts on a 2 on, 4 off rota. Sleep ins are paid at 65.00.
Duties
Assist with daily living activities, including meal preparation, and medication management.
Develop and implement individual care plans tailored to each child's needs and preferences.
Provide emotional support, fostering a warm and welcoming environment.
Maintain accurate records.
Communicate effectively with children, families, and professionals to coordinate care.
Participate in training and development opportunities to enhance skills and knowledge.
Qualifications
Previous experience in residential children's homes.
Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
Familiarity with IT systems for maintaining records and documentation is advantageous.
