Children's Residential Support Worker - Rhuthin

Location: Rhuthin (beautiful rural setting)Salary: 32,556 - 33,261 (including sleep-ins)Hours: Full-time | 40 hours per week + sleep-ins

Shift Pattern: 2 on / 4 off

Are you passionate, resilient, and ready to change young lives?We're looking for a Children's Residential Support Worker to join a warm, therapeutic children's home just outside Rhuthin. You'll support young people aged 8-18 with complex needs and behaviours in a setting where care, compassion, and consistency come first.

Support and mentor young people to build confidence and independence Create a nurturing, fun, and safe home environment Promote emotional, social, and behavioural development Handle challenging situations calmly and effectively Build trusted relationships with young people, colleagues, and families Help maintain the warm, homely atmosphere of the service
What We're Looking For

Experience in children's residential care or adult mental health/challenging behaviour (essential/desirable mix) Full UK driving licence - ESSENTIAL (you'll transport young people to school and activities) 21+ years old - ESSENTIAL (in line with CIW regulations) A positive attitude, resilience, and a genuine passion to make a difference
