Join a Dedicated Residential Childcare Team (Ages 7-18)
Location: Rural setting - must drive
Schedule: 3-week rolling rota | 25-hour shifts including sleep-ins
Are you ready to be part of something meaningful? We're looking for passionate, resilient individuals to join a small, committed team supporting young people aged 7-18 in a residential home. Our aim is to offer a stable, nurturing environment where children can feel safe and supported as they work through complex life experiences such as trauma, abuse, or neglect.
What You'll Be Doing:
You'll become a vital part of a close-knit team creating a warm, family-style environment where children can grow emotionally and socially. The role involves:
Offering daily emotional and practical support tailored to individual needs
Being a consistent and positive role model to help children build trust and life skills
Supporting children in attending education, therapy, activities, and appointments
Taking part in everyday home routines like meal prep, cleaning, and shopping
Organising fun and engaging outings
Using a company vehicle during shifts (a valid driving licence is essential)
Due to our rural location, personal transport is needed to get to and from the home.

Shift Pattern:
We work a consistent 3-week rota offering work-life balance and stability:
Week 1: Monday, Wednesday, Saturday
Week 2: Tuesday, Friday, Sunday
Week 3: Thursday
Each shift runs from 9:45am to 10:45am the following day (includes a sleep-in).
