32,136 - 32,744.40 per annum (based on experience and qualifications, including average sleep-in payments)

What You'll Do


As a Residential Support Worker, you'll play a vital, hands-on role in supporting young people in our therapeutic home. Working on a 2:1 basis, you'll build strong relationships, encourage independence, and provide the emotional and practical support they need to thrive.

From beach trips and paddleboarding to quiet evenings with a film or a walk in the countryside, you'll be part of the moments that make a house feel like home--and a young person feel truly cared for.

Day-to-Day Responsibilities



Provide daily care, encouragement, and emotional support Support education, hobbies, routines, and meaningful activities Help with cooking, cleaning, gardening, and other household tasks Promote independence and life skills through day-to-day interactions Follow therapeutic care plans and foster positive behaviours Keep accurate records and work alongside professionals Work a flexible shift pattern, including weekends and paid sleep-ins

What You'll Bring



A genuine drive to support and uplift children and young people Ideally, experience in residential childcare and/or a Level 3 Diploma (or be working towards it) Strong communication, empathy, and problem-solving skills A proactive, patient, and collaborative approach Full UK driving licence A commitment to training and professional development
