We are pleased to share an opportunity for someone to us as a Resource Controller. This is a permanent job, working 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday. This role is working from our East Dereham. The role comes with Agile Working.
As a Resource Controller, you will co-ordinate electrical trades effectively to meet our EICR works KPI's and Flagship Group's Values. Working closely with the Capital Works Managers and Electrical Compliance Managers to ensure EICR works are planned against demand. You'll evaluate and process subcontractor valuations which are submitted weekly, identifying and unnecessary claims and inaccurate costs.
Reviewing asbestos surveys and submitting them to subcontractors and our in house electricians. You'll ensure mutual exchange electrical checks are booked in on the dates required to ensure void times are kept to a minimum. Co-ordinating the day to day work of the EICR Operatives to increase productivity and minimise downtime. One of your main priorities is to always provide outstanding customer service.
Applications are welcomed for the role of Resource Controller from those with previous experience of resource management or a similar role co-ordinating works, to a team accommodating and variable shift pattern.
You'll need to be an effective communicator and good listener, have the confidence to change and propose ideas and solutions. Be able to make effective decisions under pressure.
Competent in Microsoft applications such as Outlook and Teams. You'll be educated to GCSE standard or relevant NVQ, CIPD, CPP (or equivalent) or working towards such qualifications. The ideal applicant will also have experience of working in the Social Housing Sector and a good understanding of the general building and construction industry.
