Location

: Manchester (Hybrid - 3 days in office)





We have an exciting opportunity to grow our Resourcing team within Digital Intelligences largest account. Our Account is a split location but with a single customer, everyone strives towards the same mission, to keep the UK safe. Many of our 500 person strong account utilise our office space creating an excellent culture of knowledge sharing and collaboration across our 3 main locations (Gloucester, Manchester and Leeds).




What you'll be doing




Resource Management - work with Project Managers and Team Leads to understand how many people we need to hit our P&L. This can be broken up into: + Supply Planning + Demand Planning
Business Unit Utilisation - focus on the right roles for our staff through strategic rotations and ensure the right level of utilisation is maintained, managing our available for work population and other key metrics Reporting - understanding our utilisation and be able to communicate a forecast on our business performance to senior members of staff Support recruitment activities - ensure requirements are clear and the right people are involved in the process from interviewers, candidates and providing support through running campaigns and events On-boarding of new staff - being the day 1 point of contact along with a friendly face for people to speak to before new candidates join Building a sense of community - help bring the account and Manchester office together through open communication and other inclusivity events



Your skills and experiences




Excellent time management and prioritisation skills - You are at the hub of activity and will need to cope with many conflicting demands on your time from senior stakeholders Good problem solving and facilitation skills, you will be required to run meetings and workshops as part of your role Business acumen - you will be expected to understand business priorities and support business decision-making Ability to work to tight deadlines Knowledge of Resource Management and planning would be beneficial to help you hit the ground running Strong working knowledge of Microsoft office packages, in particular Excel.




This role would suit anyone looking to gain a better understanding of Business Operations Management and would be ideal for someone who is just starting out in their career having recently graduated from University or alternatively is able to demonstrate suitable relevant experience and enthusiasm.



As part of your development, not only will you learn how we run a multi-million pound business area and have access to senior leaders across the business, you will also have a People Manager and buddy assigned to help you build a network across BAE Systems and define your own career in the company.
