Brief Description

We have a 12-month Secondment/ FTC opportunity for a Resourcing Business Partner to be part of Network Rail\'s Southern Region Resourcing Team. You\'ll form part of our Southern Region Resourcing Team and be the dedicated RBP for our Sussex Route.

Based at London Blackfriars, you will provide an exceptional candidate experience, as well as providing specialist resourcing advice and guidance to hiring managers.

We are able to offer hybrid working, with the requirement to be in the office 2/3 days a week.

About the role (External)

What to expect?

As Resourcing Business Partner you\'ll be responsible for the day-to-day recruitment activities and play a key role in helping Sussex Route deliver a safe and reliable railway service through your role in attracting and recruiting a diverse range of talent.

You\'ll be involved in activities such as:

\xc2\xb7 Managing the recruitment life cycle from advert to candidate offer, ensuring candidates and hiring managers receive a great experience throughout the process.

\xc2\xb7 Working on Diversity and Inclusion initiatives to further increase Diversity across the Sussex Route.

\xc2\xb7 Providing specialist advice and guidance to hiring managers on attracting a diverse range of talent into Network Rail/Sussex Route.

\xc2\xb7 Working with our managers and finance team to provide an accurate resource plan and forecast.

\xc2\xb7 Managing and coordinating bespoke recruitment campaigns for a variety of management and frontline roles.

\xc2\xb7 Sourcing talent through various recruitment channels and other resourcing methods (e.g. career fairs) such as assessment centres.

\xc2\xb7 Keeping talent pools \'warm\' through organising online recruitment events, and sending other collateral, such as newsletters.

We are looking for someone who can demonstrate the following:

\xc2\xb7 Demonstrates strong business/commercial approach and understanding of business needs.

\xc2\xb7 Proven experience of working in partnership and building strong working relationships with senior managers in order to improve resourcing delivery.

\xc2\xb7 Passionate about customer service with ability to articulate previous achievements through business deliverables.

\xc2\xb7 Knowledge and experience of implementing best practice recruitment solutions to drive a value-added service.

\xc2\xb7 Experience of influencing senior managers.

\xc2\xb7 Excellent communication skills and ability to negotiate and influence effectively with all levels of an organisation.

\xc2\xb7 Understands how to work with the business to identify, develop and implement appropriate resourcing solutions.

\xc2\xb7 Proven track record of operating in a complex working environment.
