This role will play a key part in shaping and delivering our recruitment strategy, ensuring we attract, engage, and recruit the best talent across the business. You will work closely with managers and stakeholders to understand workforce needs and provide expert resourcing guidance. This is a UK wide role and can be based in
Birmingham, Manchester, or London
What you'll be doing
End to end candidate management duties including advertising, pre-screening, telephone interviews, interview set up, job offer negotiation and onboarding.
Run targeted recruitment campaigns and initiatives, with a direct hire first mentality.
Establish and maintain talent pools and create pipelines of engaged candidates.
Manage the Preferred Supplier List (PSL), ensuring agency partners meet agreed standards, comply with contractual terms, and consistently provide high quality candidates. Negotiate agency rates.
Build relationships with internal line managers, candidates and recruitment suppliers as well as the wider HR Team.
Maintain comprehensive tracking of hiring data. (eg. Rejected offers, time to hire, time to offer and aged vacancies)
Support the redeployment of internal staff, ensuring employees are matched to suitable opportunities across the business
Who We're Looking For
Experienced Recruitment Partner with a background in infrastructure, engineering, or construction.
Strong experience within an internal recruitment or talent acquisition function, with a proven track record of business partnering with senior stakeholders and cross-functional teams.
Highly proficient in LinkedIn Recruiter, with the confidence to directly engage individuals for strategic-level hires. Able to promote opportunities effectively, build rapport, and instil confidence in candidates.
A collaborative team player who takes initiative and ownership and can work independently when required.
Previous experience implementing change, strengthening recruitment processes, and bringing stakeholders along throughout the journey.
Experience using an ATS
