Please note: This is a 12 month fixed term opportunity Our Resource Management (RM) team ensure we have the right people for the right jobs, at the right time, in the right places. Resource Management works collaboratively with our business to deliver successful people deployment solutions and build quality client teams. As the workforce of the future takes shape it's an exciting time to be in Resource Management and play a pivotal role in driving our strategy and ambitions forward. As a Resource Manager within our Financial Services, Asset and Wealth Management portfolio you will be responsible for managing a team of Resource Officers to deliver workforce and people deployment solutions, often in a busy and changing environment. You will work in partnership with stakeholders, using your commercial mindset, business acumen and Management Information (MI) to inform and influence decisions. You will have the opportunity to learn key leadership skills from established and successful stakeholders and the opportunities to develop and progress professionally are significant for those with a proactive and continuous improvement mindset.

What your days will look like:



Deliver effective people deployment and workforce planning solutions using Workforce Planning systems Use knowledge and understanding of the portfolio's growth plans to provide the business with pragmatic advice on people deployment and resourcing solutions that drive growth and profitability Manage and coach others, ensuring they optimise headcount to increase utilisation whilst balancing the impact on employee engagement Conduct regular skills reviews with client facing staff to ensure maximum utilisation, development and fair allocation of work for each individual Interpret and analyse Management Information (MI) to provide trends, make connections and spot opportunities to improve profitability and people engagement Anticipate, mitigate (where possible) and resolve conflict

This role is for you if:



you are adept at stakeholder management and influencing - effective liaison, challenge and influencing skills to build authentic long term relationships with stakeholders and senior leaders you are a positive communicator - communicating with impact using different communication styles appropriate to the audience you have resourcing experience within Financial Services preferably in a large scale, complex organisation you are analytical and a problem solver - developing and driving solutions using MI and data analytics to improve profitability of the business unit. Preferably you will have knowledge of data visualisation tools such as Tableau or Power BI you have experience of providing coaching, professional development and support to others you are a confident and resilient person capable of influencing others
