This is a Home based role but regular travel is required to our logistics sites, Primarily Dagenham, Avonmouth and Nottingham (occasional travel to Wigan, Glasgow and Belfast may also be required).

Ideally we are looking to hire someone in the midlands due to travel accessibility from Birmingham New Street.

to become a key part of our in-house recruitment team. This is a chance for you to own and shape how we recruit across our Logistics function as well as supporting on the strategy across our bakeries, supply chain and head office.

About the Role





As our new Resourcing Specialist, you will own and deliver recruitment across a broad portfolio of roles, with a particular focus on leading our national Logistics recruitment. Working closely with our Recruitment Partners and Talent Acquisition Lead, you'll attract, source, and select exceptional talent across both blue and white collar functions.



This is a hands-on role with real scope to make an impact. You'll play a vital part in shaping how we attract talent, strengthening our presence in the logistics and distribution market, and ensuring that hiring across our sites is delivered "The Hovis Way".

What You'll Be Doing





Managing the full end-to-end recruitment process: attraction, shortlisting, assessment, and onboarding. Owning Logistics recruitment nationally, including attraction campaigns and assessment centres across our distribution sites. Driving targeted recruitment activity for roles such as Drivers (HGV Class 1 and 2), Transport & Logistics Operations, Warehouse, and Planning. Creating innovative ways to access new talent pools such as Military career partnerships, apprenticeships, prison services etc. Building strong talent pools for current and future hiring needs. Creating engaging, high-impact job adverts and campaigns. Conducting proactive sourcing and outreach to passive candidates. Supporting the wider team in high-volume periods across all business areas. Partnering closely with hiring managers to deliver a seamless and efficient recruitment process. Promoting diversity, inclusion, and a brilliant candidate experience at every step. Supporting apprenticeship recruitment and wider TA projects as required.

What You'll Need to Succeed





Previous recruitment experience is essential, ideally within an in-house team. Desirable: Prior experience recruiting in the Logistics industry, ideally covering HGV Drivers, Transport, Distribution or similar. Proven 360 recruitment expertise, from talent sourcing to offer negotiation. Experience recruiting in high-volume environments and managing workload individually and at pace. Strong stakeholder management skills with the ability to influence and build trust. Excellent organisational, administration and record keeping skills. Curiosity about market trends and a desire to continually improve processes. Willingness to spend time on site understanding our operations and culture first hand.
