As a vital member of our security team, you'll be on the frontline, closely monitoring activities and reporting any incidents with tools such as wands and metal detectors. With a strong focus on continuous training and service improvement, you'll play an essential role in maintaining a secure and safe environment.

Position Details:



Shift Patterns:

Responder - 4 on 4 off (days, nights and weekends)

Pay:

24.65 per hour

+ Weekly Hours:

Average 42 hours per week

Qualifications:

SIA license required

Transportation:

Must have a valid driving license or reliable access to transport

Responsibilities



Respond to security incidents as dispatched within designated tier times. Conducts patrols of the interior and exterior of the datacenter facility. Prepares reports on a surface book device on incidents responded to during shift. Serves as Incident Commander pending arrival of security supervisor, or member of a public service agency police or fire. Serves as an escort for datacenter guests requiring individual escorts through the facility. Monitors cameras in the Security Operations Center (SOC). Identifies security shortfalls and offers suggestions from improving the security program. Maintains logs and records in accordance with the Datacenter Standard Operations Procedure (SOP). Evaluates and escalates potential safety issues within the facility. Required to know and follow safe work practices, and to be aware of company policies and procedures related to job safety, including safety rules and regulations. Notify supervisor upon becoming aware of unsafe working conditions. Identifies security shortfalls and offers suggestions from improving the security program. Qualifications

Essential Skills



SIA licence Must pass mandatory screening training Full UK Driving Licence All mandatory training must be completed. (This includes screening training, which is required upon commencement of the role. Failure to successfully complete this may lead to the withdrawal of your contract offer). 3 years experience within the security industry Right to work in the UK and have a five-year checkable history Visitor & Contractor Management Good English skills (verbal and writing) Great customer service skills (white glove attitude) Excellent communication skills Good time keeping Reliable and great team player
