Exciting Opportunity - Response Coordinator

Special Projects and Services (SPS) is a leading Global Risk Management and Security company. We provide a range of specialist security and medical services that ensure our clients across the Globe stay safe. All SPS international activities are managed and overseen from our Operations Centre based in Hereford where we are looking to recruit a new member to join our Operations team as a Response Coordinator (RC)

Response Coordinator (RC)

, this role requires you to use intelligence sources, internal and external assets and open-source media to identify global threats--from political instability and natural disasters to security risks and health concerns. Form these sources you will provide critical information to our leadership team, ensuring rapid and effective responses to any situation 24/7.

No two days are the same! One moment, you could be monitoring global events, and the next, coordinating emergency response efforts to assist clients in challenging situations. You'll work closely with international security teams, medical professionals, and corporate partners, gaining invaluable experience in risk management and crisis response.

What You'll Do

Monitor global events and security threats, providing real-time intelligence.

Work alongside the Operations Manager, responding to our client's needs.

Coordinate SPS operations, ensuring smooth communication between teams.

Respond to alarms and alerts, offering immediate reassurance and guidance.

Implement procedures and protocols during critical incidents.

Maintain and oversee essential communication and monitoring equipment.

Skills & Experience

? Confident using IT systems and communication platforms.

? Strong listening, communication, and decision-making skills.

? Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.

? Excellent time management and report-writing abilities.

Bonus points if you have:

Experience in a security operations center (GSOC) or similar role. A degree in criminal justice, international security, or political science. Military, law enforcement, or emergency services experience.

Shift pattern: Four 8-hour shifts, followed by 4 rest days.

Holiday: 20 days annual leave
