to oversee and support a group of children's residential homes between
Staffordshire and Manchester

About the Role
In this role, you'll provide strategic direction and ensure that each home operates in full compliance with regulatory standards. Working closely with
Registered Managers
, your focus will be on safeguarding, governance, and driving service improvement across all locations.
Key Duties and Responsibilities
Provide leadership and accountability for the quality and performance of multiple children's homes
Ensure services meet all requirements under the
Children's Homes Regulations 2015
and
Ofsted frameworks
Support and mentor
Registered Managers
to deliver high-quality, child-centred care
Lead the implementation of
safeguarding policies and procedures
to ensure the safety of all children
Prepare for and manage
Ofsted inspections
, striving for "Good" or "Outstanding" ratings
Promote a culture of
continuous improvement
, staff development, and evidence-based practice
Oversee
staffing
,
budgets
, and resource planning across homes
Build positive working relationships with
local authorities
,
social care professionals
, and regulators
Lead on staff training, coaching, and
performance management
About You
We're looking for someone who is proactive, emotionally intelligent, and committed to achieving the best outcomes for children.
Essential Criteria:
Minimum of
3 years' senior leadership experience
in children's residential care
Level 5 Diploma in Leadership & Management for Residential Childcare
(or willingness to achieve it)
Strong knowledge of
safeguarding
,
regulatory compliance
, and
Ofsted standards
Proven leadership and people management skills
Clear commitment to placing the needs of children and young people at the heart of care
Full UK driving licence
(essential) and flexibility to travel regularly between sites
