Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Children's Residential Team Leader to oversee the care and support of children in a residential setting. The ideal candidate will have experience working with children, a strong ability to communicate effectively, and a passion for fostering a safe and nurturing environment. This role involves leading a team of childcare staff, developing care plans, and ensuring that the needs of each child are met.

Roles and Responsibilities

Register as the Responsible Individual of a children's home Work with Director of organisation to assist with the opening of a new children's home Ensure the service is fit for purpose and ensure the service meets OFSTED guidelines and standards Lead on recruitment of a brand new staff team Implement policies and procedures for the service to follow Lead on safeguarding concerns Line manage Registered Manager

Qualifications / Experience

Experience and understanding of running a children's home Knowledge of the law, regulations and standards and how to apply them Good understanding of safeguarding processes Good leadership and management skills including financial management A sound understanding of practice and working with young people A good understanding of the policies and procedures used in children's home Driving Licence NVQ Level 5 in Leadership and Management

Rate Between 250 - 550 per day Part time work - 1 / 2 days a week Liverpool Based
