, providing strategic leadership and driving excellence across multiple residential homes for children and young people.
About the Role
As Responsible Individual, you will lead on quality, compliance, and performance across a portfolio of children's homes. Working closely with Registered Managers, you'll ensure services meet and exceed regulatory standards, deliver exceptional care, and achieve the best possible outcomes for young people.
Key responsibilities include:
Ensuring full compliance with Ofsted regulations and national care standards.
Providing inspirational leadership, coaching, and guidance to Registered Managers.
Leading on safeguarding and ensuring robust policies are embedded across all services.
Preparing and leading homes through Ofsted inspections, achieving Good or Outstanding ratings.
Managing budgets, staffing, and resources effectively and efficiently.
Building and maintaining strong partnerships with local authorities, social workers, and regulatory bodies.
Championing staff development, training, and performance management.
Promoting a culture of excellence, accountability, and child-centred practice.
About You
We're looking for a driven, knowledgeable leader who is passionate about transforming lives. You'll bring:
Proven senior leadership experience within children's residential care.
In-depth knowledge of Ofsted regulations, Children's Homes Regulations 2015, and Quality Standards.
Level 5 Diploma in Leadership & Management for Residential Childcare (or equivalent / willingness to work towards it).
Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
Strong financial, compliance, and operational management experience.
A genuine commitment to safeguarding and improving children's lives.
A valid UK driving licence and flexibility to travel across the region.
