As we prepare to register with Ofsted, we're looking for a values-driven, experienced Nominated Individual to help lead us through this exciting next chapter.

About the Role:



In this strategic leadership role, you'll be the vital link between our organisation and Ofsted. You'll guide our service through its registration process and provide ongoing oversight to ensure compliance, continuous improvement, and exceptional outcomes for the young people we support.

You'll work closely with the Registered Manager and leadership team, championing quality, safeguarding, and service development at every level.

Key Responsibilities:



Lead the Ofsted registration process for our semi-independent 16+ provision Provide governance, quality assurance, and regulatory oversight Support the Registered Manager to meet SCCIF and Quality Standards Represent the organisation in dealings with Ofsted, local authorities, and professionals Ensure robust safeguarding practices and promote a culture of excellence Contribute to audits, development plans, and staff learning initiatives

What We're Looking For:



Senior leadership experience in residential childcare, supported living, or leaving care services Deep knowledge of Ofsted regulations and the SCCIF framework A strong track record of improving services for vulnerable young people Confident, collaborative, and inspiring leadership style Level 5 Diploma in Leadership and Management (or currently studying) Able to meet Ofsted's "fit person" criteria for a Nominated Individual

Job Types: Part-time, Permanent

Pay: 350.00-450.00 per day

Schedule:

Monday to Friday
Experience:

Ofsted Management: 2 years (preferred) Residential Childcare : 2 years (preferred)
Licence/Certification:

Driving Licence (preferred)
Work Location: In person
