We are seeking enthusiastic and dedicated Front of House Staff to join our dynamic team. This role is crucial in providing exceptional guest services and ensuring a welcoming atmosphere for all patrons. The ideal candidate will possess strong communication skills, a passion for hospitality, and the ability to manage time effectively in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities
Greet guests warmly upon arrival and assist with seating arrangements.
Provide excellent customer service by taking orders accurately and efficiently.
Assist in food preparation and ensure adherence to food safety standards.
Upsell menu items to enhance the dining experience and increase sales.
Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the front of house area, including tables and waiting areas.
Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely food delivery and address any guest concerns promptly.
Handle cash transactions and perform basic maths for billing purposes.
Support other team members during busy periods to ensure smooth operations.
Qualifications
Previous experience in a hospitality or guest services role is preferred but not essential.
Knowledge of food safety practices is advantageous.
Basic culinary skills are beneficial for assisting in food preparation tasks.
Strong time management skills to prioritise tasks effectively during peak hours.
Excellent communication skills with a friendly and approachable demeanour.
Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment while also being self-motivated.
A willingness to learn and adapt in a fast-paced setting, demonstrating flexibility as needed.
