We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Restaurant General Manager to oversee the daily operations of our establishment. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills and a passion for delivering exceptional hospitality. The Restaurant General Manager will play a pivotal role in creating a welcoming atmosphere for both guests and employees.
Duties
Supervise daily restaurant operations, ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations.
Lead and manage a diverse team, fostering a positive work environment that encourages teamwork and professional growth.
Oversee food preparation and production processes, ensuring quality standards are met consistently.
Implement effective training programs for staff in areas such as food safety, cooking techniques, and customer service.
Monitor inventory levels and manage ordering of supplies to maintain efficient kitchen operations.
Develop and maintain relationships with suppliers to ensure quality ingredients are sourced.
Handle customer inquiries and complaints professionally, striving for excellent guest satisfaction.
Prepare reports on restaurant performance metrics, including sales figures and employee productivity.
Collaborate with the culinary team to create innovative menu items that reflect current food trends.
Experience
Proven experience in restaurant management or a similar supervisory role within the hospitality industry.
Strong culinary experience with knowledge of food preparation, cooking techniques, and food production processes.
Demonstrated ability in team management, with experience in training and developing staff members.
Familiarity with food safety regulations and best practices in kitchen environments.
Previous experience in serving or barista roles is advantageous but not essential.
Excellent leadership skills with the ability to motivate and inspire a team towards achieving common goals.
