Responsibilities

Assist with meal preparation and cooking under the guidance of chefs Prepare ingredients by washing, chopping, and measuring as required Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the kitchen area, including washing dishes and utensils Follow food safety and hygiene standards to ensure a safe working environment Support catering events by setting up and serving food as needed Help with inventory management by restocking supplies and reporting shortages Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely service during busy periods

Skills

Previous experience in a kitchen environment is preferred, including restaurant or catering experience Basic cooking skills with an understanding of meal preparation techniques Knowledge of food safety practices and hygiene regulations Strong organisational skills with the ability to multitask effectively Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced setting Excellent communication skills and a team-oriented attitude A passion for food and culinary arts, with a willingness to learn new skills

Pay: From 12.21 per hour
