Job Description

Overview:
We are seeking an experienced and dedicated Restaurant General Manager to join our team. As a Restaurant General Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our main restaurant, which is the flagship of the hotel and incorporates a modern british Menu, ensuring exceptional customer service, and maintaining high standards of food quality and safety. Duties:
- Manage and supervise all aspects of the restaurant's operations, including staff scheduling, inventory management, and budgeting
- Train and mentor staff members on proper food handling techniques, customer service protocols, and restaurant policies
- Monitor and evaluate employee performance, providing constructive feedback and implementing corrective actions when necessary
- Collaborate with the kitchen team to develop and update menu offerings based on customer preferences and seasonal availability
- Oversee the ordering and receiving of supplies to maintain adequate inventory levels
- Handle customer inquiries, complaints, and feedback in a professional and timely manner
- Maintain a clean and organized restaurant environment, adhering to health and safety regulations

Qualifications:
- Previous experience in a managerial role within the hospitality or restaurant industry
- Strong knowledge of culinary techniques, food preparation methods, and kitchen operations
- Excellent leadership skills with the ability to motivate and inspire a team
- Exceptional customer service skills with a focus on creating a positive dining experience for guests
- Strong organizational and multitasking abilities to effectively manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Proficient in using restaurant management software for scheduling, inventory tracking, and reporting
