Responsibilities
Manage daily restaurant operations, ensuring smooth service and adherence to quality standards
Supervise and train staff, fostering a collaborative team environment
Oversee food preparation and production, ensuring compliance with food safety regulations
Maintain inventory levels, placing orders as necessary to ensure adequate supplies
Implement and uphold health and safety standards within the kitchen and dining areas
Handle customer inquiries and complaints professionally, striving for complete satisfaction
Develop and maintain relationships with suppliers and vendors
Monitor financial performance, including budgeting and cost control measures
Collaborate with the culinary team to create innovative menu items that reflect current trends
Experience
Proven experience in a restaurant management role or similar supervisory position
Strong culinary experience with knowledge of food preparation, cooking techniques, and food safety practices
Previous experience in team management within a hospitality setting is essential
Familiarity with barista duties or hotel experience is advantageous but not mandatory
Excellent leadership skills with the ability to motivate and guide a diverse team
Strong organisational skills with an emphasis on attention to detail in food production processes
