Job Summary:
We are seeking a Restaurant Manager to run the day-to-day operations of a dining establishment.
Your duties include managing the staff and operations, providing excellent customer service, ensuring staff are safe and that all food safety procedures are followed according to regulations.
You will be required to have a keen attention to detail and be able to prioritise tasks, never compromising on standards and encouraging others to do the same
The ideal candidate will excellent leadership skills to drive the team towards success.
Responsibilities:
- Manage all aspects of the restaurant, staff training, customer service, and overall guest experience.
- Has full accountability for all aspects of the business
- Supervise kitchen and front-of-house staff to ensure smooth operations.
- Develop and maintain standard operating procedures for efficient restaurant functioning.
- Monitor inventory levels and order supplies as needed.
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations at all times.
- Handle customer inquiries, feedback, and complaints in a professional manner.
- Train new employees on restaurant policies and procedures.
- Leads by example - inspiring, coaching and developing their team every day
Qualifications:
Has experience working at management level in a branded or independent environment
Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and guide a team effectively.
Understanding of food safety practices and regulations.
Experience in bartending is a plus.
Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities to interact with staff and customers effectively.
