We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Restaurant Manager to oversee daily operations within our bustling establishment. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring exceptional service, maintaining high standards of food safety and quality, and leading a motivated team. Duties
Oversee daily restaurant operations, ensuring efficient service, smooth workflow, and a positive dining experience for all guests.
Lead, motivate, and support front?of?house team, including scheduling, task delegation, and performance management.
Maintain strict standards of food safety, hygiene, and cleanliness in line with UK health regulations and company policies.
Monitor food preparation and service quality, ensuring consistency, accuracy, and timely delivery of all dishes.
Handle customer enquiries and resolve issues promptly, maintaining high levels of satisfaction and professionalism.
Manage stock levels, place orders with suppliers, and implement effective waste?control measures to optimise costs.
Train and develop staff on service standards, food safety, operational procedures, and customer engagement.
Work closely with the Head Chef to plan menus, introduce seasonal specials, and respond to customer trends.
Ensure full compliance with licensing laws, health & safety requirements, and all operational regulations.
Review sales reports, identify performance trends, and contribute to strategies that drive revenue and growth.
Requirements
Minimum 1 year of supervisory experience in a restaurant, hotel or similar hospitality role.
Good knowledge of food preparation, cooking methods, and kitchen operations.
Strong understanding of food safety and hygiene standards.
Confident team leader with good communication and people?management skills.
Organised, reliable, and able to work efficiently under pressure.
Experience in restaurants, hotels, or bars is an advantage.
Knowledge of restaurant service standards and hospitality procedures.
Hospitality or culinary qualification preferred but not essential.
