Job Summary


Independent restaurant looking for a dynamic and experienced

Restaurant Manager

to oversee daily operations within our vibrant dining establishment.

Among responsibilities: ensuring exceptional customer service, maintaining high standards of food safety and quality, leading a dedicated small team (at the moment theres 1 or 2 people per shift on the front of house), maintaining the establishment clean and tidy, delegate tasks, check stock, implementing selling strategies, communicate with the kitchen and up-sale food and drinks.

Customer service is a key element to grant the customers an all-round dining experience that will be unforgettable and will keep then coming back and tell all their friends.

Responsibilities



Manage and supervise all restaurant operations, including food preparation, serving, and customer service. Oversee staff scheduling, training, and performance management to ensure a cohesive and efficient team. Maintain high standards of food safety, cleanliness, and hygiene in accordance with regulatory requirements. Coordinate with kitchen staff to ensure timely food production and quality control. Monitor inventory levels, place orders, and manage stock to optimise operational efficiency. Handle customer enquiries, complaints, and feedback professionally to enhance guest satisfaction. Implement marketing strategies to attract new customers and retain existing clientele. Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations at all times. Assist in financial management tasks such as budgeting, cost control, and sales analysis.

Experience



Proven supervising experience within a restaurant or hospitality environment. Some background in food preparation, cooking, and culinary techniques. Extensive restaurant experience with knowledge of food safety standards. Demonstrated leadership skills with the ability to manage a diverse team effectively. Familiarity with barista services or bar management. Excellent organisational skills with the ability to multitask in a fast-paced setting. Prior experience in hospitality roles such as serving or catering will be considered an asset. This role is ideal for an enthusiastic professional eager to lead a team towards delivering memorable dining experiences while maintaining operational excellence in a busy restaurant environment.

Pay: 29,420.00-43,491.16 per year
