We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Restaurant Manager & Chef to help us set up exciting new restaurant venture and oversee daily operations. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring exceptional customer service, maintaining high standards of food safety and quality, and leading a motivated team. This role offers an exciting opportunity for a passionate professional with a strong background in hospitality and culinary management to contribute to the continued success of our restaurant.
This role is based in centre of Boston Lincolnshire, and local accommodation can be provided if required plus a Salary of 3k per month. Expected contract length is 3 months but may extend.
Duties
Supervise and coordinate all restaurant activities, including food production, service, and cleanliness.
Manage staff schedules, delegate tasks, and oversee team performance to ensure smooth operations.
Oversee food preparation and cooking processes, ensuring adherence to recipes and quality standards.
Maintain high standards of food safety, hygiene, and sanitation in compliance with health regulations.
Monitor inventory levels, order supplies, and manage stock control efficiently.
Handle customer enquiries and complaints professionally to ensure satisfaction.
Implement training programmes for staff development in hospitality, food safety, and service excellence.
Ensure the restaurant meets all legal requirements related to health and safety regulations.
Qualifications
Proven supervising experience within a restaurant or hospitality environment.
Strong background in food production, food preparation, and cooking techniques.
Demonstrated leadership skills with the ability to manage teams effectively.
Extensive restaurant experience with knowledge of kitchen operations and culinary practices.
Must have level 2 or 3 Food Safety certification.
Familiarity with food safety standards and regulations.
Excellent organisational skills with the ability to multitask under pressure.
Exceptional communication skills to liaise effectively with staff and customers.
Previous experience in serving customers in a fast-paced environment is desirable. This role is ideal for a dedicated professional eager to lead a vibrant team while delivering outstanding dining experiences.
