Restaurant Manager - Arugam Bay, Chelmsford

We are Arugam Bay Chelmsford - a Sri Lankan-inspired, beach-themed restaurant bringing the spirit and flavours of Ceylon to the heart of Chelmsford. As we continue to grow, we are looking for a

dynamic and experienced Restaurant Manager

with the passion, attitude, and skills to take the business to the next stage.

In addition to our main dining space, we have an upstairs function hall -

Cinnamon

- with a capacity of up to 90 guests. Cinnamon space is currently unbranded, and we are seeking a manager who can help develop and position it effectively in the local market.

Key Responsibilities:

Liaise with our marketing and SEO partners to establish and refine the brand's market positioning Manage and resolve internal operational issues to ensure smooth day-to-day performance Collaborate closely with the Head Chef and Executive Chef to promote the business in the best interests of the brand and stakeholders Organise and manage events, ensuring high levels of guest satisfaction Oversee daily operations including customer service, staff coordination, and front-of-house standards Manage inventory, stock control, and ensure daily maintenance and cleanliness of the premises Drive sales and work towards meeting and exceeding revenue targets

What We're Looking For:

Proven experience in restaurant or hospitality management Strong communication and leadership skills A proactive, hands-on attitude with a focus on customer experience and business performance Ability to multitask, problem-solve, and lead a team effectively Knowledge of marketing, event planning, and stock management is essential

Pay: 28,000.00-32,000.00 per year
