We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Restaurant Manager to lead our team and oversee daily operations within our vibrant establishment. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership qualities, a passion for hospitality, and a comprehensive understanding of food service standards. Duties
Oversee all aspects of restaurant operations, including front-of-house and back-of-house activities
Supervise and coordinate staff schedules, ensuring optimal coverage during peak hours
Lead food preparation and cooking processes to ensure quality standards are met consistently
Manage food safety protocols in accordance with regulatory requirements
Ensure efficient food production and service delivery, maintaining high levels of customer satisfaction
Train, mentor, and evaluate staff to foster a motivated and professional team environment
Monitor inventory levels, place orders, and control costs effectively
Handle customer enquiries and resolve any complaints promptly to uphold the restaurant's reputation
Maintain cleanliness and organisation within the restaurant premises in compliance with health and safety standards
Experience
Proven supervising experience within a restaurant or hospitality setting
Strong team management skills with the ability to motivate staff and foster a positive working environment
Extensive restaurant experience with knowledge of food preparation, cooking, and food safety practices
Familiarity with culinary techniques and food production processes
Experience in hospitality or hotel environments is advantageous
Knowledge of barista skills or serving experience is beneficial but not essential
Demonstrated leadership qualities with excellent organisational skills
Ability to manage multiple priorities efficiently under pressure
