We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Restaurant Manager to lead our team and ensure the smooth operation of our establishment. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills and a passion for the hospitality industry, with a focus on delivering exceptional dining experiences.
Key Duties and Responsibilities
Oversee the daily operations of the hotel restaurant, ensuring efficient and professional service at all times.
Lead and manage the front-of-house and restaurant team, including hiring, training, scheduling, and performance management.
Ensure a consistently high standard of food and beverage service in line with hotel brand expectations.
Coordinate with the kitchen and hotel departments to ensure smooth service during breakfast, lunch, dinner, room service, and events.
Handle guest inquiries, feedback, and complaints professionally and promptly, ensuring guest satisfaction.
Maintain compliance with health, hygiene, and safety regulations in line with hotel and legal standards.
Manage restaurant inventory, ordering, and supplier relations, ensuring cost-effective operations.
Work closely with hotel management and the sales/marketing team to promote the restaurant and develop seasonal menus or special offerings.
Monitor budgets, control costs, and analyze sales to identify areas for growth and improvement.
Qualifications
Proven experience in a managerial role within the hospitality or culinary sector.
Strong understanding of food safety regulations and best practices in food preparation.
Excellent leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage a diverse team.
Proficient in kitchen operations, including cooking techniques and menu planning.
Exceptional communication skills, both verbal and written.
Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
