Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Restaurant Manager to oversee daily operations within a busy dining establishment. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, extensive hospitality knowledge, and a passion for delivering exceptional customer service. This role involves managing staff, ensuring food safety standards, and maintaining the overall efficiency of the restaurant to provide an outstanding dining experience for all guests.

Responsibilities

Supervise and coordinate the daily activities of restaurant staff, including serving, food preparation, and kitchen operations Lead and motivate team members to ensure high levels of service quality and customer satisfaction Oversee food safety protocols and ensure compliance with health regulations Manage inventory levels, order supplies, and oversee food production to maintain quality standards Handle customer enquiries, complaints, and feedback professionally to enhance guest experience Organise staff schedules, training sessions, and performance reviews Monitor financial performance, including sales targets and cost control measures Collaborate with chefs to develop menus that meet customer preferences and uphold culinary standards Maintain a clean, organised, and welcoming environment in accordance with hygiene standards

Experience

Proven supervising experience within a restaurant or hospitality setting Extensive restaurant experience with a strong background in food preparation, cooking, and kitchen operations Knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices in food production Demonstrated team management skills with the ability to lead diverse teams effectively Experience in hospitality roles such as serving or barista work is advantageous but not essential Familiarity with hotel or bar management is desirable but not mandatory Leadership qualities combined with excellent organisational skills are essential for success in this role
