We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Restaurant Manager to oversee the daily operations of our establishment. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in hospitality, demonstrating exceptional leadership skills and a passion for delivering outstanding customer service. As the Restaurant Manager, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth running of the restaurant, managing staff, and maintaining high standards of food safety and quality. This role is working alongside the bar manager and reporting to the GM
Duties
Supervise daily restaurant operations, ensuring adherence to quality standards in food preparation and service
Lead and manage a team of staff, providing training and support to enhance their skills in food production and hospitality
Oversee food safety practices, ensuring compliance with health regulations and maintaining a clean kitchen environment
Coordinate with kitchen staff to ensure timely food preparation and delivery to guests
Manage inventory levels, placing orders for supplies as needed while minimising waste
Handle customer inquiries and complaints professionally, striving to enhance guest satisfaction
Implement marketing strategies to promote the restaurant and increase patronage
Prepare reports on restaurant performance, including sales figures and staff productivity
Experience
Proven experience in a restaurant management role or similar supervisory position
Previous experience in team management within a hospitality setting is essential
Familiarity with food safety regulations and best practices in food handling
Experience in serving customers in a fast-paced environment is highly desirable
Background in hotel or barista roles can be advantageous but is not mandatory
